100 Jahre Hochbahn

Over 100 years ago, in 1906, work began on Hamburg's first subway line. Six years later, work was completed and regular service began. Now the Hamburger Hochbahn is celebrating this anniversary with a six-year program, from 2006 to 2012, dealing with its history, present and future. In synchrony with numerous exhibitions, campaigns and book releases on the topic, a large and extensible website was built to accomodate six years worth of content.

The site that accompanies the »100 Jahre Hamburger Hochbahn« program provides not only complementary information on the other promotional measures, but also a variety of contests and other forms of public participation as well as other exclusive web specials.
