U4 Hochbahn

In the summer of 2007, the Hamburger Hochbahn AG began with the construction of a new subway line, the U4. In 2011, the new line will connect the new HafenCity to the rest of Hamburg. The corresponding website was planned specifically to present the building process in a manner that was both transparent, informative and entertaining.

The U4 site is frequently updated and provides lots of additional information on the construction process with images, text, video and animated interactive infographics. In addition, a monthly video podcast is published on iTunes and the website itself.
